It has been more than a month since the USTET results were officially released. I got wind of my results nearly two weeks before that, when a slightly controversial leakage occurred. As shown in the picture, I qualified for both of my chosen programs, in a manner of speaking.
In the space between the day of the leakage and the actual release of results, which as we all know coincided with the release of the UPCAT results, I’d gotten attached to UST. I was thrilled to have passed the exam, and I was almost certain that it would be my school for the next four years. But of course, when the UPCAT results came out, everything changed.
Last Monday, on the very first day of the confirmation period at UP, I officially reserved my slot at UP Diliman. Two days later, my final report date and any chance of becoming a Thomasian officially ended. And here’s a secret: Although being an Iska fills me with pride, a part of my heart will still belong to UST. Always. :)
